CORDIE'S SPICY BAKED BEANS 
This family recipe is absolutely the "best" baked beans you'll ever eat.

1/2 lb. sausage, browned and drained
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
2 (15 oz. ea.) cans pork and beans, drained
1/2 cup ketchup (Hunts)
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. mustard

Brown sausage with green pepper and onion; drain off the grease. Put pork and beans in a large pot and add rest of ingredients.

Simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently to keep beans from sticking.

Note: Can easily be doubled, tripled, etc. for a large crowd.
