GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
5 lbs. potatoes, cooked 1/2 lb. bacon (2 or 3 handfuls fried bacon) 1 big onion 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 2/3 c. vinegar 1 1/4 c. water 1/8 c. salt (about 2 tbsp.) 1/2 tbsp. pepper Fry onion and bacon. Mix sugar, flour, vinegar, water, salt, pepper and add to the bacon. Cook until thickened. Add cooked, sliced potatoes and heat. |
