HOME MADE VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lb. stew beef with fat
12 med. fresh tomatoes
3 ears fresh corn, cut from cob
3 or 4 pods fresh okra, cut
2 med. sliced onions
2 carrots, diced
2 med. potatoes, diced
1 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. celery, diced
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook beef until tender. Add vegetables, salt and pepper. Bring to boil; lower heat and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
