APPLE CRISP | |
4 to 6 c. sliced apples 1 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 stick butter, room temperature 1/2 c. sugar, plus 2 or 3 tbsp. brown sugar Peel and slice enough apples to fill a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Season as you would for apple pie, only use 1/2 as much sugar. Butter baking dish and add apples. For Topping: Mix flour, salt, cinnamon, and sugar with softened butter. Sprinkle over top of apples. Bake at 375°FF. until apples are tender and topping is brown. |
