CRANBERRY SQUARES 
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 (13 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (10 oz.) can or bottle ginger ale
6 oz. lemon or pineapple Jello
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 env. Dream Whip

Drain pineapple well and reserve juice. Add enough water to juice to make 1 cup. Heat to boiling and dissolve Jello in it. Add ginger ale and chill to set slightly. Combine pineapple and cranberry sauce, mix well. Add this to Jello, chill. Mix 1 envelope Dream Whip according to directions and beat in the cream cheese. Spread on top. You can toast pecans and spread on top if desired.

We love this with Thanksgiving dinner, but also it is great when served with chicken.
