EASY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
4 rounded tbsp. cocoa
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
2 heaping tbsp. cocoa
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and oil with beaters; add cocoa. Mix well. Add eggs; beat. Add sour cream alternating with flour. Blend well. Pour hot water over soda and add; beat well. Add vanilla and blend. Pour batter into 9"x13" pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Test for doneness by toothpick. When cooled, frost.

To make frosting, place all but vanilla in pan and stir over medium heat. Stir until it boils. Boil 1 minute. Remove from stove and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until right consistency to spread.
