CHOCOLATE - GRAND MARNIER TART | |
1 recipe sour cream pie dough 4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (or chips) 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped 4 lg. eggs 2/3 c. sugar 1/4 c. Grand Marnier 1 3/4 c. whipping cream 1 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, Finely grated orange Roll out and bake 9 inch pie crust. Cool completely. Melt the chocolate, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat. Using electric mixer beat yolks to blend. Gradually add sugar and beat until pale yellow and slowly dissolving ribbon forms when beaters are lifted. Beat in warm chocolate, then Grand Marnier. (Mixture will appear grainy.) Beat cream to peaks in large bowl. Fold 2 cups cream into chocolate mixture. Spoon into pie shell. Top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate and grated orange peel. Chill 4 hours. Yields 8 servings. |
