DROP DONUTS 
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Combine sugar, milk and egg. Melt Crisco and add. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Drop in hot oil, about 2 to 3 inches deep and cook 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels and roll in powdered sugar.
