CRAZY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 c. boiling water

Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl except boiling water. Add boiling water and mix on mixer for 2 minutes or until well blended. Bake in three greased and floured 9 or 10-inch cake pans at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

FLUFFY FROSTING:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. water
2 unbeaten egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Combine in top of double boiler. Cook over rapidly boiling water beating with electric mixer until mixture stands in peaks. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat until frosting holds deep swirls. Frost cake.
