SUNDAY SAUSAGE | |
1 lb. mild sausage 1 lb. hot sausage 2 env. Lipton noodle soup mix 1 c. Minute Rice, uncooked 2 c. boiling water 1 bell pepper, chopped 2 c. chopped celery 1/2 onion, chopped 1 sm. can pimento 1/2 tsp. salt 1 sm. can water chestnuts, sliced thin Break sausage and cook until red is out. Drain and keep 2 tablespoons of grease; saute vegetables. Mix soup mix with rice in a large bowl. Pour boiling water over; let stand. When rice is ready, add the other ingredients to rice mixture. Pour into casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. |
