MARINATED SAUERBRATEN 
6 lb. beef
5 c. vinegar
5 c. water
3 onions, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
12 whole cloves
6 bay leaves
6 whole black peppers
3 tbsp. salt

Mix up liquids and spices. Put meat in. Leave in refrigerator for 36 hours, turning occasionally. Remove meat fry in hot fat. Add 1 cup of marinate. Cover and cook at 325 degrees for 2 hours or until tender.
