CHOCOLATE ICEBOX DESSERT | |
1 c. butter 2 c. powdered sugar 3 eggs, separated 2 sq. chocolate, melted 1 c. chopped walnuts 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed Cream butter and sugar; mix in egg yolks and chocolate. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, walnuts and vanilla. Place half the crushed wafers in pan; spread with chocolate mixture. Place remaining crumbs on top. Chill for 24 hours; serve with whipped cream. Yield: 8 servings. |
