DOUGHNUTS 
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. sour milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour, if little soft, use a little extra flour

Sift flour, soda and powder. Beat eggs and sugar and add flour mixture and the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Roll on floured board, cut and fry in deep fat. When frying doughnuts, turn them as soon as they come to the top of grease. Fry until light brown. Remove from grease and let drain on paper toweling.
