HARVARD BEETS 
1 can beets
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt

Drain juice from beets into saucepan. Stir in sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and salt. Stir until thickened. Add beets and butter. Heat until butter is melted.
