PIZZELLES 
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. anise
1/2 lb. butter, melted
4 tsp. baking powder

Beat eggs and gradually add sugar. Beat until smooth. Add melted butter and vanilla. Mix well. Sift flour and baking powder; add to egg mixture. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on pizzelle (or waffle) iron and cook about 1/2 minute. Makes about 100 cookies.
