CRAB AND BROCCOLI QUICHE | |
9 inch unbaked pastry shell, 1 1/2 inch deep 1/2 lb. crab meat 3/4 c. chopped broccoli 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese (4 oz.) 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 c. chopped green onions 1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimentos, drained 3 eggs 1 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp. pepper Bake pastry shell in a preheated oven at 450 degrees for 7-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Distribute crab evenly over bottom of baked pastry shell. Evenly layer broccoli, Swiss cheese, Parmesan cheese, onion, and pimento on top. In a bowl, lightly beat eggs; stir in milk, salt, nutmeg, and pepper; pour over crab and cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Makes 4-6 servings. |
