1 c. sugar
1/4 c. and 2 tbsp. cream
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1 stick butter
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients together. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in a slow oven 325 degrees until golden brown. While still warm shape over a broom handle.
