LEPT COOKIES 
1 pt. lard
1 pt. butter
1 pt. white sugar
1 pt. brown sugar
1 pt. molasses
2 eggs
1 pt. buttermilk
1 heaping tbsp. baking soda in milk
1 1/2 pt. nut meats
1 1/2 pt. raisins
1 tsp. baking powder
Cinnamon & nutmeg to taste
1 (3 lb.) coffee can, flour

Cream lard, butter and both sugars. Add eggs and buttermilk. Add nuts and raisins. Add flour; mix well. Put in tupperware that you can seal well. Put in refrigerator and bake as needed. Drop from teaspoons on cookie sheet. Dough will keep.
