COUNTRY BISCUITS
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lard or shortening
Self-rising flour

In a bowl or pan, combine milk, salt and lard or shortening. Add enough flour, slowly, to make a smooth texture of dough. Then pour out on a floured board. Sprinkle with a small amount of flour. Pat down and roll out about 1/2-inch thick. Cut in biscuit size. Put in greased pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 475 degrees until golden brown.
