BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 to 4 ripe bananas
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar; add 2 eggs, which have been lightly beaten, vanilla, and bananas (which have been mashed to a pulp). Add flour, which has been sifted with baking soda. Beat to a smooth batter and add nuts. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
