1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. raisins
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. water

Boil 1 cup raisins in 1 cup of water for a few minutes. Drain and save 5 tablespoons of water and cool. Mix 1 cup sugar, 1 cup butter and 2 eggs. Sift together 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add 2 cups oatmeal and add raisins last. Drop by teaspoon and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
