BAKED INDIAN PUDDING 
1/4 c. corn meal
5 c. milk
1/4 c. molasses
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. fat

Mix corn meal with 1 cup milk. Scald the remaining milk in double boiler; add corn meal, molasses, salt, ginger, cinnamon and fat. Mix well.

Pour into greased baking dish and cook in slow oven (275 degrees) for 2 hours. Serve with cream or custard sauce. Serves 6.
