HOLIDAY MARSHMALLOW FUDGE 
5-7 lg. marshmallows, quartered
7 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
11 marshmallows
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. walnuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla, or for a change rum flavoring

Spread quartered marshmallows on tray and freeze until firm. Put chocolate and butter in large bowl and set aside.

Combine sugar, 11 marshmallows and milk in heavy saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly (very important). Boil another 3 minutes stirring constantly. Pour over chocolate and butter in bowl. Blend well, adding quartered marshmallows, nuts and flavoring. Blend well. Pour into 8 inch square pan. Chill until firm. Cut into squares.
