4 1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. can Pet milk
1/2 lb. nucoa or other butter
3 (6 oz.) pkgs. chocolate chips
8 oz. marshmallows
2 c. nuts (optional)

Put sugar and canned milk in large pan, 6 quart, and boil 6 minutes after it comes to a boil. Stir constantly. Take from heat and add the other ingredients. Beat well until all is mixed. Pour into pan and do not cut until next day.
