BEEF CHILI 
3 lb. chili grind beef
3 med. onions
1/4 c. salt
5 tbsp. chili powder
2 jalapeno peppers, 2 1/2 inch long
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. cooking oil
3 cans beef broth
2 cans pinto beans
2 cans water
3 tbsp. vinegar

Put 3 tablespoons cooking oil in 8 quart heavy pot. Heat until hot. Add meat and lightly brown. Drain excess fat. Add onion to meat in pot and cook 5 minutes. Add beans and chili powder. add 3 cans beef broth, using broth can and add 2 cans of water. Add jalapeno pepper, grated. Add brown sugar and vinegar; after cooking 3 hours add cornstarch and salt.
