HERB BREAD 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. sage
1 tbsp. caraway seeds
2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. summer savory
1/8 tsp. ginger

Add 1 1/2 cups boiling water and stir until ingredients are melted. Add 1 cup cold water; cool to 120 degrees.

Add: 2 beaten eggs 1 c. dry milk 3 c. flour

Stir well and add flour to make total of 8-9 cups. Knead, let rise double, punch down for 2nd rise or turn out and let rest 5 minutes. Shape into 3 loaves. Let rise in pans. Bake 350 degrees 40 minutes.

For Caraway Onion Bread: Omit herbs and use 3 tbsp. caraway seeds and 1/4 cup instant minced onion.
