1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. baking soda

Cream together the first 5 ingredients. Add flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Roll out dough and cut out with desired cookie cutter. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
