LATTICE TOP RAISIN BREAD 
1 c. raisins
Hot water
1 pkg. Pillsbury hot roll mix
1 c. hot water
2 tbsp. butter, soft
1 egg
1 egg, beaten

Plump raisins in hot water 5 minutes; drain well.

Grease cookie sheet. Combine yeast from package with flour mix. Stir in 1 cup hot water, butter, egg and raisins until dough pulls away from bowl. Turn onto floured surface. Knead 5 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes, covered.

Shape into round loaf and put on cookie sheet. Cover with cloths and let rise 30 minutes over pan of hot water.

Bake in 375 degree oven for 25 to 35 minutes. Slash 1/2" lattice design on top of loaf, brush with beaten egg. Loaf will sound hollow if tapped when done. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool.
