HAWAIIAN CHICKEN 
2-4 chicken breasts, 1/2 broiler-fryer or 4 chicken thighs
1/4 c. soy sauce
Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime or 2 tbsp. white wine
1/8 tsp. pepper or seasoned pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. ground ginger, optional

Arrange chicken in shallow baking pan lined with aluminum foil. Mix together remaining ingredients in small bowl or cup. Pour over chicken. Broil on rack farthest from broiler element or flame for about 30 minutes, or until well browned.

Turn, skin-side-up, and broil until well browned, basting occasionally with marinade. Reduce oven to 350 degrees and bake about 15 minutes or until marinade has thickened. 2 servings.
