EASY STRAWBERRY PRESERVES 
2 pkgs. frozen strawberries
1 box Sure-Jel
7 c. sugar

Smash berries when thawed and add 1 cup water. Add 1 box Sure Jel and mix well. Bring to a hard boil, stirring occasionally. Add 7 cups of sugar all at once. Bring to a hard boil that CANNOT be stirred down. Boil for 1 minute.

Remove from heat; skim. DO NOT STIR!!! Fill jars and invert for 30 minutes. Turn over and shake to circulate the fruit. Yield: 3 pints.
