8 lbs. whole peaches
8 c. sugar
4 tsp. cloves
4 tsp. nutmeg
4 sticks cinnamon
1 qt. vinegar

Mix sugar, spice and vinegar and let come to a boil. Drop in peaches and boil until tender. Pack in jars, fill with hot syrup and seal.
