EMERGENCY SUPPER
This is the meal my mom makes when she needs a nutritious supper, we'll all eat, on the table in 20 minutes.

Grab a pound of hamburger from the freezer, thaw in microwave. Yell at the kids to wash up and set the table. While it's thawing, get out a glass casserole and a frying pan. In the casserole stir together: 2 c. frozen corn 1/2 c. chopped black olives 1/2 c. chopped onions 1/2 c. chopped green peppers

Remove hamburger from the microwave and brown in the frying pan. Put the casserole full of stuff in the microwave, heat until hot, stirring whenever you walk by. Yell at the kids again, to the table NOW! When the hamburger's brown, add it to the stuff in the casserole, stir together. Put thin slices of Velveeta cheese or other cheese across the top, sprinkle crushed Dorito chips over the top. (I keep small bags of these in the freezer too, usually the end- of-the-bag crumbs nobody wants to eat.) Heat until cheese melts and serve.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
