RHUBARB BARS 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
2 egg yolks (well beaten)
2/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Mix together and press in to 9 x 13 pan.

3 to 4 c. rhubarb
2 egg yolks (well beaten)
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. flour

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Beat the 4 egg whites until stiff.

3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Put on baked cake and return to oven to brown a little.
