FUDGE FROSTING 
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2 tbsp. butter
2 1/4 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
6 tbsp. light cream
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract

In a double boiler top combine chocolate and butter. Cook until melted. Add 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar, cream and salt. Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and remaining sugar. Beat until smooth. Let cool, stirring occasionally. Yields 2 cups.
