SUMMER SALAD SUPREME 
Prepare day ahead:

1 sm. head lettuce, shredded fine
1 can water chestnuts, sliced thinly
2 1/2 c. chicken small pieces

Place in glass bowl in that order. Mix following and spread over above:

1 c. celery, chopped fine
1/2 c. onion, minced
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped

Cover with tiny, frozen peas, radishes, tomatoes, grated carrots. Seal with 1 pint mayonnaise. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate.

Next day: Spread 3 hard cooked eggs, chopped, 8 slices bacon, crumbled and 6 ounce Cheddar cheese, grated over mayonnaise layer before serving.
