SAUSAGE RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 lbs. bulk sausage 2 c. chopped celery 1 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic 3/4 c. raw rice 2 cans mushroom soup 12 stuffed olives 12 pecan or walnut halves Brown sausage and pour off fat. Add celery and onion to sausage and simmer 3 minutes. Add garlic, rice and soup and 1 cup water to above and simmer 2 minutes. Pour into casserole dish. Arrange olives and pecans or walnuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees until rice is done. |
