WAY DOWN SOUTH BEANS, RICE, MEATBALLS AND GRAVY | |
1 lb. little white beans Garlic clove 2 qts. water Salt to taste Bastimi rice 1 lb. lean ground beef 1 tbsp. canola oil 2 tbsp. flour Milk Soak beans overnight, strain and cook on low for about 3 hours. Oh, remember clove of garlic. Cook rice as directed. Fry ground beef with 1 tablespoon canola oil. Remove beef and get oil hot. Add 2 tablespoons flour and milk to make gravy. Stir in milk with fork until gravy thickens. Put beans over rice and beef over rice, smother in gravy. |
