COCOA FROSTING | |
2/3 c. Hershey's cocoa 1/2 c. cold water 3 c. sifted confectioners' sugar 4 tbsp. butter (melted) 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1. Mix cocoa with water, cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. 2. Add to sugar and beat until smooth. 3. Stir in melted butter, vanilla and salt. Beat until smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes. Enough frosting for filling and top of 2 (9 inch) cake layers. |
