1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. thyme leaves
1 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 lbs. potatoes (cut in 1/8's)

Blend everything but potatoes in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Add potatoes and coat thoroughly. Cook at 450 degrees for one hour, stirring occasionally. Serves 6.
