SAUCY SHORTRIBS | |
2 lbs. shortribs of beef 2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce 1 can water 1/4 c. minced onion 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Cut beef into 4 pieces. Brown on all sides in heavy greased skillet. pour off excess fat. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until meat is tender. Makes 4 servings. |
