HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 lb. browned hamburger
1 c. onion chopped
2 c. carrots chopped
3 c. diced potatoes
1 c. celery chopped
1 qt. tomatoes
Chopped cabbage
1/2 c. rice
1 crumbled bay leaf
1 tsp. thyme
Dash of basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. water

Combine all ingredients in stock pot with hamburger. Cover with water and bring to boil. Add remaining ingredients and cook until rice is done. Serve.
