1/2 c. Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. sugar

Boil these ingredients in a heavy saucepan until you can drop a few drops in cold water and hear it crackle. About 8 minutes.

Then pour mixture slowly into 2 egg whites that have been stiffly beaten. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Keep beating egg white and other ingredients until almost ready, stop and add 1 cup pecans; mix with tablespoon. Spoon out onto wax paper., Let cool, put in ziploc bags and store in cool dry place.
