CINNAMON SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. sugar

In large bowl, combine butter, 1 1/4 cup sugar and eggs. Beat with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in sour cream. Sift flour, soda and baking powder into creamed mixture. Add vanilla and blend well. Spoon half of batter into 9 inch tube pan which has been buttered and floured. Combine nuts, cinnamon and tablespoon of sugar and sprinkle half over batter. Spoon remaining batter and top with rest of nut mixture.

Place in COLD oven. Set at 350 degrees and bake about 55 minutes. Cut in pan and serve warm or cool. Serves 8 to 10.
