SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. hamburger, lean
1/4 lb. ground pork or veal
1/2 sm. onion, chopped
6 soda crackers, crushed & soaked in 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. flour

Combine meat, onion, soda, cracker mixture, salt, pepper and soy sauce and mix well. Make small balls and brown well in hot oil or butter. In skillet after meatballs are browned, pour out some of oil or fat and put flour, some salt and pepper and brown. Add about 1 cup water, stir well until thickened and smooth. May add meatballs or serve as gravy.
