FIREHOUSE CHILI 
3 lb. roast
1 clove garlic, minced
10 to 15 strips of bacon
2 lbs. Italian sausage
2 lg. cans tomato paste
5 c. water
4 oz. can diced green chilies
4 oz. can diced jalapenos
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. can chili beans
1 env. chili seasoning mix
Chili powder to taste
Cayenne pepper to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Cut roast into small cubes, removing fat. Saute meat cubes with garlic until browned. Dry bacon separately until crisp; drain and crumble. Dry sausage separately until browned; drain. In large crock pot on high, combine tomato paste and water. Mix thoroughly. Add meats, chilies, jalapenos, onion and beans, mixing well. Add seasoning mix; stir. Then add other seasonings to taste. Cook on high several hours until flavors are blended. This chili will be hot.
