VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP 
1/2 lb. beef
1 qt. water
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. green peas
1 onion, chopped
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 qt. tomato juice
1 can mixed vegetables
2 c. diced potatoes
1 c. corn

Cook and dice beef in 1 quart water until done. Dice and cook potatoes. Mix ingredients together and simmer 1 hour. Makes 1 gallon soup.
