1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. M&M candies

Blend shortening and sugars, beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to the mixture, blending well. Stir in 1/2 cup M&M'S®. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets. Decorate tops of cookies with remaining candy. BAke at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
