ROCK CANDY 
1 small bottle of flavoring
powdered sugar
food coloring
1 c. water
1 1/4 c. Karo syrup
3 3/4 c. sugar

Mix water, Karo syrup, and sugar in a saucepan. Boil to 310°F, stirring occasionally. While it's boiling, cover two cookie sheets with powdered sugar. After it reaches 310, turn off heat. Add food coloring and flavor. Stir until blended. Pour evenly into two cookie sheets and let it sit until it hardens. Crack with the end of a butter knife. Store in an airtight container.
