| TATER TOT CASSEROLE | |

2 lb. tater tots, frozen 1/2 stick softened butter, cut into sm. pieces 1/2 pt. sour cream 1/2 c. chopped onion 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated Mix tater tots, butter, sour cream and onion well. Spoon into casserole. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. | |

I bought tater tots instead of the shredded or home style square cut potatoes used for my cheesy potatoes, so I was worried. However, this recipe turned out great. I added salt (1 tsp.) and pepper (1/4 tsp.) and can cream of mushroom soup.plus I mixed cup cheese in the mix then put some on top. I got rave reviews.
