MEATBALLS IN MUSHROOM SAUCE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 egg
1/2 c. or 4 slices bread crumbs
Pinch of sage
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. ketchup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. milk

Mix together and make into balls. Brown in pan on medium heat. Take 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 cup milk. Pour over meatballs, let simmer 1/2 hour.

I enjoyed this recipe. It was simple, and as a fairly inexperienced cook, that is important. I did feel the meatballs and sauce could use a little more flavoring with spices. A touch on the bland side. I'm going to experiment with more herbs/spices next time. Great on a bed of egg noodles!
